adequate stay, some aspects need improvement

the pool was lovely. it was kept warm. the grounds are also peaceful and well kept. this added to the overall experience.
the bistro food was quite expensive. the small pizza costed around £11. electric meter ran out overnight. it was a cold night, not good.

The Iris Lodge offered a warm welcome. The lodge felt cozy immediately upon entry. Plug placements for the bunks were especially helpful , a thoughtful touch I appreciated.
I noticed a slight delay in response when contacting the front desk with a minor request.

the lodge was lovely and clean it was equipped with a hot tub that remained hot throughout our stay
i found a couple of issues the cooker had only two hob pans it was disappointing also the shower did not drain quickly i was left with a wet floor in the small wet room after showering there was no mop to dry it
